  • Buckethead

    An artist most memorable for his solo performances in which his attire consisted of a plain white mask and bearing a KFC bucket on top of is head is known as Buckethead. Check out the pictures to get an idea of what he looked like. The statement Buckthead was attempting to make was that too many chickens were meeting their deaths at the hands of fast-food companies world-wide. Buckethead’s performances in 1988 have since changed and he now wears the same plain white mask with a matching plain white bucket. Buckethead is composed of a multi-talented member by the name of Brian Patrick Carroll. Brian Carroll’s talents include knowledge of the guitar, bass, drums, piano, and numerous other musical instruments. Along with being a musician Brian Carroll is a skilled songwriter who takes the credit for writing his own songs. Different songs of Buckethead can be considered under the genre of jazz fusion, funk, electronica, or metal. Although Buckethead tours alone he has taken company with musicians including Iggy Pop, Guns N’ Roses, Praxis, and many other well known artists. Along with working with various artists his music has been featured in many top selling movies and games such as Saw II and Rock Band 2 . Buckethead has produced 24 albums and has been included in the list of Top 20 Greatest Guitar Shredders of All Time. Buckethead also takes on another identity that goes by the name of Death Cube K which is an anagram of his first alias. Death Cube K has composed 3 albums, the last of which was recorded in 1999. Although Buckethead is not currently touring he is heard to be currently in another band called The Z-Class which is releasing an album next April.
